Notas This was my first try of sewing any skirt and also first time using Lekala patterns. I felt that it was easy to sew, didn't take a lot of time and is a good fit. I didn't have to take it in, shorten it etc.

Because of this I have already bought a dress pattern from Lekala which is in progress, because I found it so much easier to sew without having to fit and alter a muslin.

I used some fabric I had left over from a dress. I will surely make this skirt again. It does not take up a lot of fabric so it's perfect to use up either leftover fabric pieces or the smaller discounted pieces of fabric that you usually find in fabric stores that are on sale because there is very little left over.

    Yes yes Mirja is right about muslin: sometimes all perfect sometimes too big sometimes too short, I had also surprises I now always make my muslins, even for lekala

    The skirt looks great.
    Of course, I highly recommend doing the muslin first. These patterns can sometimes surprise and if there is no extra fabric then it doesn’t feel nice.
