Notes This was a real struggle for me. There was no help, no description how to do it.
I didn't understand any of the marks on the pattern so I did it my way :-)
And as there was no more fabric left I just HAD to succeed!
Maybe this helps other struggling sewers:

- First I closed the under arm seam.
- Then I seamed the sleeve. (Afterwards this is not possible anymore!)
- Then sewed the sleeve in, starting at the side seam from the bodice.
Working my way up, stopped at 8 cm's from the shoulder seam.
(Once on the front side, once on the back side.)
- Then I gathered what was left, back and front separately and pinned and baste stitched the double
layers in the armhole. So you need to 'sandwich' three layers.
- I flapped the back side over the front. Watch your step, because I ended up with one backwards and
one frontwards. (Murphy's law striking again of course!)
It is very confusing when working inside out!

Hope this helps if you're also struggling :-)

The shirt with sleeves is very beautiful.

    Thanks again Catlady :-)
Next time (and it won't take me half a day to figure it out now haha!) I'll try the pleats, because these sleeves are indeed very nice!

Yvonne you solved it nicely. I also worked with these sleeves and placed 2 pleats in the excess of the fabric in the top layer on top of the sleeve at the shoulders. These are very nice sleeves and have already used them a few times with different fabrics.
