Notas We shortened the dress to cocktail length.
Outer dress organza with heavy yellow embroidery, under lined with nude pink sating. All pieces basted and then overlocked together as sewn as one.

Bodice lined with nude satin, completely interfaced with Sheer-weft, Sleeves lined but not interfaced.

Skirt lined with citrus yellow stretch satin.
This should just peek out when she sits down.

As Lidia is so broad shouldered I had to take the side zipper all the way up to her underarm and it only just fit over her hips.
I would do a back zip next time.

Also, the full elastic bodice casing was not needed, we added a narrow casing at the centre back.

I hand sewed where possible.

She looks beautiful, I can't wait to share modelled pictures.
