Notes I made this shirt in a ramie linen, which I think was a good choice and I am pleased with the result. Although it is very prone to wrinkling, it is crisp enough to hold folds if I want to roll up the sleeves, but drapey enough to look good in a loose-fitting garment. I like the design, although I can imagine that some people will want to take in the side seams, as it is quite loose-fitting.

I didn't make any fitting adjustments, although I do have one gripe about the drafting. The yoke section is drafted with the 'jogs' of the tucks going in the wrong direction. The pattern drawing shows the tucks pressed towards the shoulders, but you are forced to press them towards the center front to get the edges to line up, which throw off the spacing a bit. I didn't like the way that looked, so I reversed the yokes so that only the seam lines show on the outside.

The collar wants to stand straight up to form a very round neckline, making almost a right angle with the placket at the centre front - and you need to accommodate this in your stitching. I didn't, and you can see that the collar buckles a bit there. The bottom part of the placket (where it overlaps with the bodice) requires careful sewing as well.

I enjoyed making up this pattern and I am pleased with the result.
