|Notes||This dress is for my niece, as she has started dancing classes. The fashion fabric is dark purple silk, beautiful colour, though it is not so apparent on the picture. The lining is from cotton/silk sateen. Both materials were very difficult to handle, they gave me hard time.
I used french seams on the skirts and difficult parts made in hand. Especially neckline was a nightmare, I finished it with a sateen bias tape as well as the skirt hem and sleeves. But the bias tape was thick, not flexible and fraying a lot. I must give it i bit of ironing, there are still some wrinkles around neckline.
My niece wanted to cut the upper part without the triangle, otherwise I made no bigger changes. I like the pattern, it fits well and suits her.
