笔记	Fabric is a woven polyester microfibre with 2 way stretch. This pattern seemed like a simple way to construct shorts, without a front zipper, but unfortunately it does not work. The shorts looked great whilst I was standing, but the front section stuck out when I sat - not a good look! I had to modify the front by adding some velcro to keep the front pleat in place. I will probably use this pattern again, but will construct a zipper/fly front next time. I need proper pockets in a pair of shorts, so added some pockets to the fronts - using buttons on the flaps to keep these secure. Update - I have made a second pair of these shorts, but this time raised the upper edge to waist level and inserted a front zipper. Front pockets added, with metal zippers. I am much more pleased with this version. Photographs are of this "higher waisted" pair, unfortunately the metal zippers do not show very well. I will definitely make these again - with front zipper and pockets!
