| Notas | Printed to my own measurements but I had not taken into account the fact that it was satin, which has no give whatsoever, so I had to modify the darts as the dress was a little too tight (I had made a muslin but using crepe, which has a lot more give). The satin was underlined with cotton voile as it is very thin and I made organza facings rather than the suggested piping to finish armholes and neckline. The close-ups are work-in-progress, I managed to get rid of most of the wrinkles in the back. Oh and one important thing, I omitted the back zipper completely as I can actually get the dress on easily over my head. |
