Notas I made this using the 4414 pattern for a ruffle bottom dress. I just cut out the skirt pieces and left the bodice and I shortened it at the top to make it in line with my waist (as the dress seems to be higher, like an empire line). I think I took about 1.5 inches off the pattern piece and then in fitting it I probably took off another 1" too. I got this pattern a while ago and I had lost a bit of weight since then so I also took it in a lot at the side seams to make it really tight. I wanted it to be like a wiggle skirt style. I think it looks great with this jacket which is a costume pattern 8363 by Simplicity that I amended (as I added 2 arms instead or having just 1). The buttons are just white ones that I coloured in black using a marker pen as I didn't have any black buttons that size. I also trimed the flounce in bias tape
