Notes	Very easy to make and an interesting shape. The skirt hangs well and is very "swirly". Made at the full length recommended for the height of the wearer, a good length to wear with a pair of boots. The fabric is a stretch denim, which required the support of a ribbon stay at the waist (without which the waist tended to stretch out of shape). I top stitched the seams using a silver grey thread, to highlight the unusual shape of the spiral gores (which are not quite the shape they appear on the technical drawing). This was made several months ago and has been worn frequently, washed several times and has maintained a good shape and swinginess!

My sister was very pleased with this skirt and has requested another one in a different colour. As this fabric has worked well, I may try dyeing some as the reverse side is a pale grey that should take on colour - we shall see!

Ah, very nice. I'm making this skirt myself currently. It doesn't quite look like the technical drawing does it? Good to know it hangs well.
