Note I had some leftover fabric after making the wrap around summer trousers so I purchased some light blue satin that was on sale to make a lined version of the simple top. Again without the draped front. (I promise, one day I will do it with the drape)
I had some problems with the lining and had to Google some tutorials on how to turn it inside out. I ended up having to unpick the side seams...
15/12/16: And what I ended up doing was just as bad. I sewed around the neck, and arms after unpicking the side seams. And so I had to unpick one of the shoulder seams. This actually worked.
I've decided to add buttons to the shoulder as it seems kind of tight around the neckline. Maybe the small amount of stretch in the satin made all the difference to putting on the the first blouse I made with this pattern.
The lining seems to have made the rayon outer shell more stable. Looks very nice on.
