Notes	I have some gorgeous old curtain fabric. It might not be suitable for the panels but the skirt will be fine though gaudy. After trying out the fitting I had to shave off some from the side seams. The hips in this pattern are too high for me. Smallish waist, biggish hips but mostly on the legs not the buttocks. I also changed the single dart in the back to 2 darts of different size. That makes a nicer shape, I think. I decided to keep the decorative panels as why get a pattern with those features if you are not going to use them? The fabric as I suspected was a little bulky but with judicious trimming it will be good.
