Notes In ordering the pattern, I forgot to add seam allowances and so I spent a very long and tedious time tracing the pattern and adding seam allowances. I'll never make that mistake again! If possible, specify wide PDF and print in the shop instead of at home to further save time. Printing and taping the pattern pieces together was also okay, but it added an extra day to my construction process.

The suggested 3/8-inch seam allowance was perfect. I didn't have to trim away the excess and that saved time. I previously used 5/8-inch seam allowances in my other projects and I always had to trim away the excess because I have no serger. Now, I will always use 3/8-inch seam allowances for all my projects.

I indicated a low bust point and increased arm width in my saved size. The arm was snug (I prefer it a bit looser), so next time I will specify a large arm size.

I also modified the pattern by adding 3 inches at the bottom so that the blouse will cover hips. In the middle of making it, I discovered that my 1 1/2 yards of 58-inch wide cloth will not be enough to make long sleeves, so I had to make short sleeves. Next time, I will buy 2 yards for this kind of pattern.
