Notes I was looking for a pattern that was a bit more customized after spending hours trying to fit a pattern from another company and it was looking like I would need to cut each piece a different size.In frustration, I searched the internet to see how much it would be to get a customized pattern and stumbled onto this website.

After entering in my measurements, I started to look to see what might work as a basic dress and loved the simplicity of #8000.

I downloaded it and sent it to the local Fedex/Kinkos and has it printed in Tabloid Size for about $6.00. My paper did have scaling on it so I had to do a bit of drawing/matching to join the pieces together.

This went together very fast and very well. The pattern was well drafted and there wasn't much we needed to do to make it fit. I loved being able to customize the pattern BEFORE cutting it out and having to figure out what needed to happen to make it fit.

I can definitely see using this pattern over again with different fabric combinations.

We didn't have a serger so had to use and overcast stitch. We made it in black cotton pique which really frayed a lot during the sewing process.
