Notes	My daughter gave me a fat quarter of beautiful parrot fabric, I had been looking for a project suitable to showcase this and be wearable. This dress was perfect, the bodice just fitted within the fat quarter (although I made a mistake and placed the front section with the parrots upside down - which was a pity as they would have fitted more easily the correct way up!). No fabric left to re-cut, so the parrots will have to remain upside down! The body of the dress was made from a stretch woven cotton, which I dyed to match the blue on the parrots. I modified the neckline slightly by adding a small triangle into the cut out v at centre front, this keeps the top of the dress more snugly fitting (it was a little "gapey" before). This dress is really comfortable - and lots of fun.
