Notizen I made this out of scraps of ponte and jersey I had leftover from making a jumpsuit. Lekala rejected my measurements but the pattern still sewed together alright. I tailored it down a little to fit pretty snug and removed the cap sleeves. It's a great going out dress. I might make another one with a shorter hem and the recommended lace back for that purpose!

I've found that raising the bust point really helps "modernize" these patterns and make the chest area more flattering.

The tiny darts are a little awkward but I didn't mind them once the dress was finished. Loved the colorblocking. I managed to get makeup all over it but there's not really a good spot for a zipper, so I'll just be more careful next time.
