Notes Made in stretch cotton fabric, and doubled with acid green satin.
I wanted to make this top reversible. The start was very promising. It progressed swiftly. ‘Made in a whim’ went trough my mind…

Yeah, yeah… Not. It would have been, had I not doubled the top with satin. It really became an uphill struggle when I had to bring all together at the back side, turning inside and out - all over again, trying to find the needle in a haystack. But I managed. Perseverance is the key, I guess.

I made the pattern as it was, did not change any, except the back at the neck: as I did double the top I did skip the neckline facing, replacing it by a small one which I doubled, and fixing it side to side, as a ribbon would not have hold this sturdy fabric. Made a buttonhole and button at the back (not included in the pattern).

I am happy with the pattern. If you’d make this top, don’t think, just ink.

I personally like to make a lot of reversible clothes. They are really challenging, especially if you use completely different types of fabric.

    Nice end result though.
