Notes | First version of this jacket. I ordered with low waist option. Amendments: I needed to take in 1.5 cms in the center back at the neckline and 2x2 cms in the front neckline as per image! I think it is a lot I also have to lower the bust point by 3 cm which is not nothing. Regarding the armholes : it is ok if I use 0.5-1 cm thick shoulder pads. But if I don’t, then I would need to raise the armholes and the entire shoulder and also the neckline somehow. I will just add a small pad there. Although I had the impression that this design was more casual… I needed to amend the armholes adding 1 cm to the back and removed 1 cm in the front approximately. This is a standard alteration for my body shape Fabric: cotton -nylon lace with viscose jersey backing already fused to it. Makes total 70% and don’t remember the rest of the % :) Very little, practically unnoticeable stretch. I am looking to use black piping or similar Fit and alterations : For me the upper chest circumference is 3-4 cm too large. As well as the neckline circumference : I took out a wedge in the neck to tighten the neckline, and took out a wedge from the bust going to the neckline on each front pieces. I had to lower the bust point by 2 cms, and I think that if I use a minimal shoulder pad it will be perfect but without it I would have to raise the armholes a little. It is with thin garment underneath and without lining. Would it be much different it I added a lining ? |
