Notes	Happy with the pattern. Made in ‘Classic poly’ fabric. The pattern is a PDF ‘out of the envelope pattern’, which means that it is ordered to your personal measurements. But always measure your pattern, as I had a few that were off mine. This raincoat pattern did fit as it should. The original is a longer coat. But as I already have enough raincoats - and I did like the model - I intended to make a coat in between a coast and a jacket. I made less alterations then I intended. I do not like zippers, and avoid it whenever I can. I also intended to skip it with this model, and to make buttonloops allover. But in that case I could not attach the lining as I wanted to. Tried lots of ‘operations’ which failed one by one. So, out of my wits I went with the zipper, but made two buttonloops at the neck. And I skipped the wide cuffs (due to the lightweight fabric). It is a nice model and easily made, but the ‘darts’ at the neck take a while. I should have ironed fusible interfacing (as I thought I wouldn’t need it. But unfortunately too little too late). However, I made use of lining allover (as in the model there isn’t any). Would I recommend this pattern? Yes! Sure! In my opinion it would go very well in boiled wool. Perhaps in future (in between my tens- of simultaneous projects).
