Notes | The fit of the pattern is good but a little loose considering the recommended fabric is knit with stretch. I did use a zipper in the back. Alterations by personal preference: I edited the front side of the dress by simply cutting out the lower front piece twice instead of the original piece that would cover up the legs completely. I also made a different neckline that is an asymmetrical V shape half covered under the upper layer. Because I thought the large U décolletage does not suit me at all. So I wanted like a wrap instead but that also doesn’t look ok on me so I raised the neckline by adding some cms to the upper edge of the upper front piece. Shortened the sleeve . I think it is a nice pattern I will do it again. I think it is not a difficult one, the main issue I had was because the fabric I chose was difficult to sew and impossible to unpick without destroying it all. I added jersey lining to the back only. Attention: you may observe some dropping and odd hanging of the lower front overlap piece: if your fabric is heavier it can hang too low I had to rectify the hem several times. Also if your fabric is very stretchy you could get away without the zipper! I could have! But I realize it too late |
