Notes I took a good 3 inches off of the hem and got rid of the dip in front. I used French seams instead of the patterns suggestion of serging. I rounded off the point around the underarms. I opened up the V neck quite a bit. I opted for no ties to leave it open. I didn’t use the cuff and opted for bias tape on the sleeve. I took a significant portion of the sleeves out. The sleeves fell midway in between my shoulder and elbow and it was not flattering on me. After I took the photos on the dress form, I took out more in the waist which you can see in the photo with the mark. The photo I’m wearing it was after the waist had been taken in, not much difference. It made more sense for me to sew the shoulders together first, attach the lining to the eyelet before sewing it to the yoke, then do the bias binding last. I attached eyelet fabric to the bottom of the lining for a double hem.
