This is one of the first garments I made. The instructions were scant, which made the project challenging. My choice of fabric also made sewing this item a challenge. The instructions called for using elastic thread to shape the waist, but the denim was much too thick for that. I ended up creating a channel so that I could insert wide elastic for the waistband. You can see the contrasting fabric I used for all of the facings and pockets in the second picture. Finally, I added cool handmade honeybee buttons to finish the jumpsuit. I've worn the finished product a lot! |
