| Notes | This is a very close fitting skirt, only 2cm of ease. I needed to add an additional 1.5cm to the fronts, to give a looser fit, as the skirt was originally only suitable for standing up straight. I would definitely advise a fabric with some widthways stretch for this style. The skirt is shorter than the diagram suggested, only knee length, so I finished the hem with a facing to give a little extra length. I really like the waist design on this skirt, the waist is faced and has large belt loops, this should be comfortable and versatile. Very pleased with the finished skirt :) Top is 4017, which I thought would go well with the skirt because the bodice darts were already aligned with the skirt waist darts. I am very pleased with this combination. |
